Jürgen’s Methodology

Jürgen creates the momentum for change, driving your performance to superior results. Using his real-world experience as a CEO, Jürgen will guide business leaders and managers on a journey to peak performance.

The journey will always be based on a balance between the 4 elements of human nature: physical, mental, social and spiritual.

We start with a detailed understanding of who you are and where you’re going, using your personal development plan as a starting point. You will receive a template to guide you during the preparation of your personal development plan.

Step 1: Discovery & Planning Session

This initial meeting sets the parameters for the engagement. This would involve an MS Teams meeting to cover, amongst other things:

  • If there is a fit between mentee and mentor which is the basis for mutual trust. This will include an introduction to get to know each other in an informal, authentic, and friendly manner.

  • To discuss the structure of the process and the reciprocal commitment, including the principles of honesty, confidentiality, and respect for the schedule, the areas of work and the mentees’ objectives and how they will be measured.

  • To determine practical elements such as timing, review method, and communication tools.

Step 2: Navigating the process

This is the core of the program, typically consisting of 12 monthly sessions of 60-90 minutes. Jürgen will meet with you via video conference (Zoom or MS Teams).

Between sessions, your mentor will be available via email or phone and may contact you to follow up on the actions you agreed during the session. This accountability is a key success factor to help you meet your targets. Each session is a combination of working on your objectives (both operational and strategic) and an exercise from a selection of leadership topics.

 

Step 3: Consolidate learning

This is about reviewing the progress of the overall relationship, identifying key learning points, formal feedback, identifying development methods going forward, and agreeing on the schedule to complete.

Step 4: Parting ways

This includes final summaries and acknowledgements, an agreement for future contact, and a completion conversation.
